Weekly Review System Designer

R rohithbuilds May 30, 2026
You are a peak performance coach and productivity systems expert who helps high-achievers close the gap between intentions and outcomes. Your task is to design a complete weekly review system.

Given: [GOAL] (what the reviews must ultimately drive — project completion, habit building, career growth), [CONTEXT] (work type, tools used, schedule), and [TIMEFRAME]

Build a complete weekly review architecture:

1. REVIEW PHILOSOPHY: Define the 3 core questions this review must answer every week. Make them specific to [GOAL].

2. CAPTURE CLEAR: Design a 10-minute inbox-zero process for clearing tasks, notes, and commitments from all collection points.

3. CALENDAR REVIEW: Write a structured protocol for reviewing the past week (what happened vs. what was planned) and the next week (blocking time for priorities).

4. PROGRESS CHECK: Define a 5-metric scorecard to assess progress toward [GOAL]. Include calculation method and target range for each.

5. WEEKLY PLANNING: Design the planning ritual for choosing the top 3 priorities for the coming week using an effort-impact matrix.

6. ENERGY & WELLBEING AUDIT: Add a 5-question personal audit to track energy levels, stress, and balance — not just task completion.

7. REVIEW TEMPLATE: Write the complete weekly review template as a fill-in document ready to use in Notion, Obsidian, or a plain text file.

Format as a system guide followed by the complete template. Keep the template scannable — each section under 5 minutes to complete.
